I found this piece of graffiti tucked away on the side of a building. It was illuminated by a small light by the side of it making it stand out in the night like a lit up piece of artwork in a gallery.

Im just a girl with a camera and New York City is my inspiration
NYC is all about the bright lights in Times Square, honking taxis, shopping on 5th Avenue, fast pace and glamorous nightlife.
But not for me.
It's all about the littler things.
New York is full of unusual, unique, strange and unnoticed beauty that makes it for me. It's a different place once you slow down and take some time.
I like to take pictures constantly to capture those little things that I love.

I love the colour on this, it has a real warmth to it! I kept thinking it was a painting, nice spot!
ReplyDeleteHi Aimee
ReplyDeleteNice idea for a blog, street art like the graffiti can be beautiful. I met a photographer I can't remember his name(Saul something) who took the most beautiful shots of the remains left after posters are torn down; layers and layers of the remnants of old posters!
